Sourcewrite To Develop New Database System For BAA Plc.

Sourcewrite have agreed a new contract to design, produce and support a database system to assist with a multi-million pound network infrastructure upgrade programme across BAA's UK sites, including Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. The system will be built using a customised version of our popular Web Substance Content Management framework. It will be used to record and manage the various network switch devices and associated cable and fibre routing details for each device. It will also provide workflow management tracking for the complete migration process from the initial discovery phase, right though to the final hand over of the live switches. It will offer detailed management reporting and progress reporting. The system also features dynamic image creation to display visual diagram routing information for the various new fibre routes across the country. Sourcewrite are very pleased to continue our long standing relationship with BAA's project teams and we look forward to delivering this exciting application on time and within budget.
